This member of the academic staff of Iran University of Medical Sciences emphasized: If we follow the standards, the risk of burns will be greatly reduced and the most important measure to prevent burns is standardization, because the most common cause of burns that cause people to be admitted to hospitals is the non-standardization of gas systems, which In this regard, manufacturers and regulatory bodies are to blame.
The cost of a billion tomans for the treatment of burns in Iran
The deputy of Iran’s burn research center has stated that 3600 billion tomans are spent annually on burn treatment in Iran. According to IRNA’s scientific reporter, Dr. Siamak Farrogh Farghani said in a press conference on Monday on the occasion of the 7th National Burn Congress of Iran: On average, in the acute stage, the treatment of a burned patient costs 20 million, which is about five times this amount (100 million Tomans).
